Final Editorial Review

Literary Titan Chimes in On Whalers

I’ve been feeling a little “imposter-y” lately.

My debut novel releases in just 17 days. I’m aggressively trying to get the word out. I’m becoming acutely aware that a year of my life’s work is about to be put into the hands of my family, friends, enemies, and strangers.

I think all writers know the feeling. The anticipation of a new book release, wondering how it is going to be received. If people will “get it” or if they will give up after just a few pages. If people will see that it was written by a guy like me and make the decision just simply not to purchase.

But then, just when that feeling emerges, another sign comes that this novel is just as good as I’ve always thought it was.

My final editorial review has come in and is posted on this website. This review, from Literary Titan, is the third straight 5 star review for Whalers. You read that right. Three straight.

One five-star review is by chance.

Two five-star reviews is a coincidence.

Three? Now that’s a pattern.

Not only did Literary Titan give the book 5 stars, but they also called it “genre-defying”, “thought-provoking”, and said that: “Farnworth has crafted a novel that captures the messy, complex nature of human imperfection. Whalers is an emotional rollercoaster, offering moments of heartbreak, resilience, and introspection.”

Three five star reviews in a row. I’m sick of pretending that I’m not sure whether or not this book is great. This book is incredible.

The novel officially releases on Amazon on February 18th. Stay tuned.
