WHALERS is a 2025 Kindle Book Award Finalist

The funniest thing happened to me last night.
As I was browsing Goodreads, I lingered on the page of my debut novel, Whalers. Now, I haven’t thought much about Whalers recently, due to the grind of getting ready for publishing and the promotion of my next novel, Medusa, set to release in February.
I hadn’t visited the page in a while, and when I did, I noticed something new underneath the book description:
Literary awards? Kindle Book Award Nominee? What in the world?
A quick Google Search brought me to the website for the Kindle Book Awards, which features Book Awards in different genres the year they were released. I clicked on the 2025 Book Awards, and low and behold, there it was:
In red, signifying a finalist in the Mystery/Thriller category, was Whalers by Kyle Farnworth.
Pretty exciting stuff.
Even more exciting is the fact that Medusa continues to recieve high praise from reviewers ahead of its release. I can’t wait for you all to read it on February 24th.
Maybe it will win some awards of its own.
