One Week Until MEDUSA: My Launch Week Lineup Is Stacked

For those who did not see my video posted yesterday, my second novel Medusa releases in less than one week. The big day is Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, and I cannot express just how excited I am to share this novel with the world.
Next week is a HUGE week for me. Not only does the novel release, but I’m also going on a number of different shows/podcasts to promote the novel and talk a bit about the creation, the meaning, and the stories behind Medusa. I am lucky to have scheduled four appearances with some big names in the book community.
Let’s take a look at the week. Each title is a link that you can click on to see the live or the podcast I’ll be appearing on. It is my goal to not only gain exposure for my own writing, but also for these shows. These people are some of the hardest working in the game and I’d love to flood their show with likes, comments, and live viewers. Lets get into them.
Monday, 2/23 – The Dad Lit Pod
I am recording with Daniel Roberts of The Dad Lit Pod. Roberts hosts a podcast where he interviews “authors, reviewers, and industry professionals and explores books by dads, for dads, and about dads.”
Medusa is a novel about a cult, but at its heart, it’s a story about fathers. The book is actually dedicated to my dad and much of the story deals with the impact fathers have on their children.
Daniel read Medusa and said that it was “sensationally good. My favorite of the year thus far. Very excited to chat with him about it in a couple of weeks.”
This show is not LIVE, but will be released shortly after recording.
Tuesday, 2/24 – Indie Book Release LIVE @ 7:00 EST
Jessica Barberi hosts a live release show for indie books in order to maximize exposure on the day of its launch. This appearance won’t be as much of an “interview” per say, as more of an introduction, pitch, and reading of Medusa. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to share my process and pitch the novel to those who may not be as familiar with it.
Jessica is a really strong advocate of the indie book community and it cannot be understated how much her lives mean to the authors that go on them. Interestingly enough, she is the one host who has not read Medusa, so this will be a great opportunity to pitch it to both her and her viewers.
Wednesday, 2/25 – BOOKED LIVE @ 5:00 EST
Let me be very clear here. Nobody has championed Medusa quite like Saffron Asteria.
It seems like forever ago, but our first email exchange goes way back to August of 2025 when I reached out about scheduling an appearance on her show. I sent her a (very rough) draft of my novel for her to take a look at, and since then her enthusiasm for this book has never wavered. She even has the endorsement at the very bottom of my cover.

I am so incredibly excited to talk with her on Wednesday. It has been an extremely long time coming.
Thursday, 2/26 – Double Booked LIVE @ 8:00 EST
Last but most certainly not least, I will be going on with Josh of AlreadyOverbooked for his author interview show. Josh is absolutely killing the YouTube game, with 638 subscribers and counting. This show is going to be a deep dive into the novel, discussing craft and character and some of the nuances that went into putting a book like this together.
Josh rated Medusa 5 stars on Goodreads, and even teased to me that there may be a solo review video coming out about the novel on his YouTube sometime next week. If that does happen, you better believe I’ll be sharing to all of my social media. Regardless, this is going to be an epic conversation to end my week and I can’t wait for it.
If you are free next week and want to check these out live, please do! I will be posting about them on all of my social media. Like I mentioned above, these people deserve to have their shows flooded with likes, comments, and live viewers — so lets make that happen.
Oh, and if you haven’t checked out Medusa on Goodreads yet, what are you doing? It’s got 10 reviews you can look at to get a sense of the early reception. Spoiler alert, 8 of them have rated it 5 stars.
Love you guys.
